Privacy Policy
How ClearTrade handles information submitted through this website.
Information you provide
ClearTrade collects information you choose to submit through contractor, contributor, commercial, corrections and Project Help forms. This may include contact details, professional information, licensing details, form responses and files you upload.
How we use it
We use submitted information to evaluate and respond to the request, verify claims, administer directory, contributor and Project Help workflows, maintain security and comply with applicable obligations. A form submission does not enroll you in marketing or newsletter email unless a separate, explicit consent flow says otherwise.
Project Help
Project Help uses the requested trade, service type and ZIP code to assess participating-professional coverage. ClearTrade may share a request and the contact information submitted with an appropriate participating professional only when the requester gives the form’s explicit sharing consent. A match is not guaranteed.
When ClearTrade has no appropriate participating professional, the request is stored privately as unmatched. ClearTrade does not promise to find a professional. We contact a requester later about coverage only when they separately permit that contact.
Storage, retention and access
Public-form submissions are stored privately in ClearTrade’s WordPress administration environment. They are not exposed through public search, sitemaps or public REST endpoints. Administrative access is restricted to authorized users. ClearTrade retains records only as long as reasonably necessary for the stated workflow, security, recordkeeping or legal obligations.
Contractor submissions and assets
Contractor profile submissions, claims and updates are reviewed privately. Contractor-supplied information and assets remain identified internally as company supplied unless independently verified. Submitted logos and photos are reviewed for permission and provenance before publication.
Analytics
ClearTrade uses Google Analytics 4 to understand site use and form completion. Names, email addresses, phone numbers, entered URLs and free-text form responses are not sent to GA4 as event parameters.
Your choices
You may request access, correction or deletion of personal information ClearTrade controls by emailing hello@cleartradereport.com. Some records may be retained where reasonably necessary for security, legal or recordkeeping purposes.
