The basic terms for using ClearTrade content, directories and participation forms.
Informational content
ClearTrade publishes general information about trades, buildings, equipment and related topics. Content is not a substitute for an on-site evaluation, professional services, legal advice or requirements enforced by the authority having jurisdiction.
Participation and submissions
Submitting a directory request, contributor application, correction request or commercial inquiry does not guarantee publication, verification, profile control, contributor status, a business relationship or any particular editorial outcome. Submitters must have authority to provide the information and assets they send.
Directory and verification
Trusted Pros is a directory, not an endorsement. Verification labels apply only to the facts and dates shown. Company-supplied information may not be independently verified. Paid or enhanced status does not control ranking, factual verification or editorial participation.
Editorial and commercial separation
Advertising, sponsorship, affiliate relationships, directory participation, payment and other commercial relationships do not control ClearTrade’s independent editorial conclusions. Expert status cannot be purchased.
Intellectual property and permissions
ClearTrade content and branding may not be republished or represented as another party’s work without permission. A submitter retains responsibility for ensuring it has permission to supply logos, photographs, documents and other materials. Submission grants ClearTrade permission to review and use approved materials for the stated participation workflow, subject to any separately agreed terms.
Project requests
ClearTrade checks participating coverage, not every contractor in an area. A match is not an endorsement, appointment, bid or guarantee of availability or performance. You and the professional independently confirm scope, credentials, permits, pricing and any service agreement. ClearTrade does not provide emergency dispatch. No paid lead sales or checkout are active.
